Ingredients

  • 4 slices brioche or thick-cut bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or any dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter (or oil) for cooking
  • 1/3 cup PistacYO Creamy Pistachio Spread
  • Crushed pistachios for garnish
  • Fresh berries, powdered sugar, or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter:
    In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  2. Soak the Bread:
    Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides. Let it soak for 5–10 seconds per side.
  3. Cook the French Toast:
    Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, cook each slice for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Serve:
    Stack French toast slices on plates. Drizzle generously with PistacYO spread and sprinkle with crushed pistachios. Add fresh berries or a dusting of powdered sugar for extra flair.
